Upcoming professional development opportunities
|
To help our staff refresh their knowledge on the university's shared values as well as our security and safety protocols, annual compliance training needs to be completed by Friday, Sept. 8.
The Staff Success Center is offering a Show-Me Series session on using Percipio to help staff feel comfortable finding their compliance trainings, checking to ensure they've completed them as well as other useful resources. The session is 2-3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, online.

Introduction to Staff Recruitment and Selection: Part II
|
To recruit and retain the best staff, managers and human resources staff must work together to effectively attract and hire highly qualified and diverse talent to have the right people in the right jobs at the right time.
Part II of this two-session course focuses on the selection process including developing interview questions, applicant screening criteria, and candidate selection. Attending Part I is strongly recommended before attending Part II. These courses can be taken as a stand-alone but are also modules in the S&T Supervisory Foundation Training Series.
This workshop is 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Aug. 29, in Room 115 of Centennial Hall.
